Day 9: Back into the swing of things


I think I'm finally out of "holiday mode" and back into my normal schedule of things.  Part of my usual Sunday routine involves cutting up some veggies and dividing them into 10 sandwich bags...that my husband and I will then take to work - along with our lunches - during the week.  It's one easy way to eat more veggies!

  1. Colourful and healthy looking shot! Preparing veggies for the week is a great way to make sure you eat some. Peg plans the menu for the week and does the cooking on Sunday. That way all we need to do is reheat and/or add fruit and raw veggies when needed.

  2. Great idea! I saw a "30 Minute Meals" once where Rachael Ray saved little deli containers, and in them she whipped up some low-fat dip and stood cut veggies up in the dip...ready for a quick snack!

    That said, I love this image. Bright and tempting!
